Home > Ministries > MinistriesVillage Pastors and MissionariesPastor Devilal worked six days a week in a beer factory to support his family so that he could be free on the seventh day to pastor a church. Pastor Hiralal's wife climbs into the hills with her two small daughters every day to gather sticks, carry them in bundles on her head to the city and then sell them to support her family. All so that her husband is free to serve the Lord. Pastor Satish has no church building to meet with the believers in his small village. Their small church must move from house to house every week just to have a place to worship God. After years of seeing and hearing the testimonies of Indian pastors such as these, the Onkars are delighted that God has opened the door for Faith Calvary Ministries USA to make a difference as these pastors strive to reach India with the good news of Jesus Christ. There is a harvest of souls ready in India waiting to hear the gospel, waiting for someone to train and disciple them so that they may also go and reach others for Jesus Christ. Faith Calvary Church, Gujarat, IndiaFaith Calvary church meets in a hall located in Faith Calvary School. There are generally 100 to 120 adults in attendance each Sunday and the space has become severely limited. They are praying about moving to a larger rented hall that can seat up to 1000. The services are conducted in Hindi and English so as to reach as many people as possible. The church has an active women's and youth ministry. All members are involved in reaching their neighbors for Christ. Faith Calvary School, Gujarat, IndiaFaith Calvary Ministry currently runs three English Medium schools in the state of Gujarat. The largest school has over 500 students from 1st to 8th grade. As the school grows a grade will be added each year until twelfth. This school is located in its own building and two floors have been completed with two floors remaining to be built. This is also the location for the Faith Calvary Church. The other two smaller schools are both located in rented buildings and the need for land and construction is great. |
